In May 2019, the Canadian Armed Forces Joint Task Force Nijmegen (JTF Nijmegen) launched their fundraising campaign for Support Our Troops, helping both Soldier On and Family First, with a goal set at $17,500.

In less than 8 weeks, JTF Nijmegen Canadian Armed Forces members from across Canada surpassed their goal and raised over $27,714! This is another great example of soldiers supporting soldiers.

The on-line fundraising platform was set up by the Support our Troops Team and JTF
Nijmegen. Participants were able to customize their fundraising page, email family and friends to solicit donations, and use this tool for their fundraising campaign efforts. Donations were directly received by the Support our Troops through this platform and donors were automatically thanked for their contribution.

On 27 September 2019, Lieutenant-Colonel Eric Quirion, Commander of Joint Task Force
Nijmegen on behalf of the Canadian Armed Forces Nijmegen Contingent presented a cheque to Mr. Steve Fash, Vice-President of Corporate Services of the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services, Mr. Jay Feyko, National Manager Soldier On, Canadian Armed Forces Transition Group, and Chief Warrant Officer Marco Côté, Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services Chief Warrant Officer.
