Thank You Montreal Canadiens!

February 1, 2018, in a small ceremony in the Habs dressing room, Canadiens owner Geoff Molson, and former team General Manager Réjean Houle, presented a signed, game-worn Military Appreciation Night Warm-Up Jersey, as well as a cheque for $13,340 to Support Our Troops representatives, Commodore Sean Cantelon, Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services  and Chief Petty Officer 1st Class Lucie Simpson.

The Military Appreciation Night Warm-Up Jerseys were auctioned online after being worn by the Habs in their Remembrance Day clash against the Buffalo Sabres in November. The auction was a great success, and the funds that were raised will benefit CAF members, their families and veterans, continuing the Montreal Canadiens proud tradition of support to the Canadian Military.

The donated Military Appreciation Night Warm-Up Jersey will be on display, along with a photo of the ceremony, at CFMWS headquarters in Ottawa. On behalf of Support Our Troops, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Geoff Molson and the Montreal Canadiens for their generous support. Go Habs Go!
