The Art Easel Program

The Art Easel Program is a Funding Innovation initiative that allows Canadians to support charitable causes like Support Our Troops by bidding on Canadian Made, fully licenced sports, music and traditional art prints.

Funding Innovation works with charitable organizations, like Support Our Troops, to partner with businesses who are willing to host art easels in their establishments. Their clientele bid on the featured artwork with the net proceeds providing funds to support programs for military members, veterans, ill and injured and their families.

Since its’ inception in 2016, the program has grown exponentially. We are proud to be supported by over 350 easel hosting establishments in 10 provinces.

PROGRAM IMPACT

In just 6 years the Art Easel Program has raised over $1, 000,000! These funds go towards programs that build family resiliency, support the rehabilitation of ill and injured soldiers, and much, much more.

OUR PARTNERS

Airway of Heroes: a community of 19 regional and international airports from coast-to-coast host art easels for Support Our Troops. Look for more airports to join over the coming months!

Highway of Heroes: Various roadside Rest Stop Service Centres like Flying J have answered the call to support our serving women and men by hosting art easels in their establishments.

Hallway of Heroes: Ottawa was the first City Hall to host easels for Support Our Troops. There are presently 5 City Halls participating in the program. Our vision and hope are to have the majority of major City Halls across Canada hosting Support Our Troops easels.

The Beer Store: 132 Stores across Ontario support this program.

Giant Tiger: As a long-standing partner of CFMWS through our Op Santa Claus program (delivering holiday packages to deployed troops), Giant Tiger was our first partner to adopt the Art Easel Program with over 130 stores participating!
