Canada Army Run Raises $4 million for Support Our Troops Since 2009 After Latest Virtual Series
A typical Canada Army Run brings thousands of Canadians together in the nation’s capital to run, walk or roll to raise funds for Support Our Troops and Soldier On. This year’s run looked a little different due to COVID-19, with almost 7,000 participants, including CAF members from every major base in Canada, registering virtually from the safety of their homes. Between September 5th to 20th Canadians from all over the country raised money, logged their runs online and shared their experiences on social media.
On Thursday, December 10th the organizers of Canada Army Run presented Support Our Troops and Soldier On with a $400,000 donation. Since its first event in 2009, Canada Army Run has raised $4M, which has proven to have a significantly positive impact on our military community.
