Better Together Community Grant
The Better Together Community Grant invites registered not-for-profit organizations to apply annually for a maximum of $50,000 of charitable funding to assist in the delivery of projects or programs that provide direct support to military and/or Veteran populations in Canada. At this time, a total of $240,000 is eligible to support various projects and programs.

- Must be active serving member, veterans and/or their families
Examples of projects and programs that may apply for a community grant are as follows:
- A project or program that supports opportunities for military families or Veterans to be better connected within their local communities, such as services related to employment, education, community integration, and/or mental health;
- Indigenous community projects that will improve accessibility and safety for members of the Ranger community and their families;
- Programs or Projects designed to increase supports and/or services for CAF and Veteran family members with disabilities; and
- Other related projects or programs that can demonstrate a positive impact to the military and/or Veteran community.
An online application for the 2025 Support Our Troops Better Together Community Grant Program will be available on 2 June 2025 at 8 a.m.
All applications will be reviewed by the Support Our Troops Disbursement Committee to evaluate both eligibility and community impact in relation to other applications. A grant approval notice will be issued to the applicant within five (5) weeks of a completed submission. The amount of funding allocations for each grant type will be determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the complexity of the proposed collaboration.
